Shipping policy

Dempstah posts all orders through Australia Post (unless an alternative postal or courier service is requested by a customer).

Shipping lead times

We endeavour to prepare and dispatch all orders within five business days.
In addition to confirming we have received your order at the time of its placement, you should also receive an email once your order has been dispatched, complete with your parcel's Auspost tracking number.

According to Australia post, standard domestic deliveries have an approximate delivery time of 2–10 business days, depending on your location (metropolitan areas along the East Coast typically receive orders within 1–5 days).
For Express Post, the average delivery time is between 1–3 business days, although this time frame will again vary based on your location. You can view a more comprehensive estimation of delivery times state by state on the Australia Post website.

Reception

When checking out through our Site and selecting your shipping preferences for your order, you will be given the option to choose between 'Signature on Delivery' or 'Authority to Leave'.
'Signature on Delivery' means the parcel won't be delivered unless someone is at the delivery address and able to sign for it in person. When someone isn't home to sign for the parcel, Auspost couriers will typically leave a slip alerting you of the attempted delivery, and directing you to collect your parcel from a collection point (e.g. the local Post Office).
Conversely,'Authority to Leave' means that no signature will be required for delivery, and couriers will find somewhere to leave the item if it's perceived to be safe, whether this is inside your mail box, in an apartment lobby or (ideally) somewhere inconspicuous on a front terrace or porch.
Please note that while this may be a faster way to have your orders delivered, Dempstah cannot be held responsible for what happens to your parcel after it has been marked as delivered by Australia Post and left on your property, as per your 'Authority to Leave' shipping preference.
Please be mindful about not leaving your delivered parcel outside for too long, to avoid it being damaged by bad weather or stolen by porch pirates!
